Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, also said, "the world's most independent country will authoritatively respond to the ill-wishers, terrorists, and the enemies wherever they might be." وقال علي أكبر ولايتي، وهو مستشار كبير لقائد الثورة الإسلامية، أن "البلد الأكثر استقلالية في العالم سترد بشكل قوي لما وصفهم بالإرهابيين والأعداء أينما كانوا".
After the Islamic Revolution, in 1980 he joined the Political Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and after going through training in various fields, in 1981 during Ali Akbar Velayati’s term as Minister of Foreign Affairs, he was appointed Head of the Consular Department (Personal Status and Registration) and served in this position until 1986. بعد انتصار الثورة الإسلامية، في عام 1980 ميلادي، إلتحق بالسلك الدبلوماسي لوزارة الخارجية، وبعد خوض الدورات التدريبية في الدوائر المختلفة في فترة وزارة علي أكبر ولايتي، تم تعيينُه عام 1981 رئيساً لإدارة القنصلية (السجلات والأحوال الشخصية) حيث بقي شاغلاً هذا المنصب حتى عام 1986.
